BMW has brought Mini to India in the Auto Expo 2012 in New Delhi. One of the most luxurious car makers, BMW, has owned Mini in the year 1994 as the small car brand. It is introducing Mini in India with 4 variants, Mini Cooper, Cooper S, Cooper Convertible and Cooper Countryman, they are coming as completely built units.
The Mini models are sold through three dealerships, Deutsche Motoren and Bird Automotive in New Delhi and Infinity Cars in Mumbai. The cute naughty baby like car is not at all cheap. The prices ranging from Rs. 24,90,000 to 31,99,000. The lowest in the queue is Mini Cooper, ex-showroom price is Rs. 24.90 lakhs. Cooper S for Rs. 28.60 lakhs, Cooper Convertible at Rs. 30.70 lakhs and the sports utility variant 'Cooper Countryman' is priced at Rs. 32.80 lakhs.
