Elusive Bobby gets talking
Bobby Deol says he doesn't like unnecessary media attention, unlike most other actors.
“I know a lot of actors use media just to garner publicity. I keep away from all this. It's unfortunate,” Bobby told his friend, actress Preity Zinta, during a chat on UTV Stars' show “Up, Close and Personal with PZ”.
Bobby and his elder brother, Sunny, are known to keep their distance from the media.
They rarely give interviews, but their father, veteran star Dharmendra, has been mixing well with mediapersons of late thanks to his daughter, Esha Deol's comeback film “Tell Me O Kkhuda”.
The film, directed by Hema Malini, will release Thursday.
'Rockstar' team in Punjab fields
The team of forthcoming film "Rockstar" -- actors Ranbir Kapoor and Nargis Fakhri, as well as director Imtiaz Ali -- shared fun moments in the lush green fields of Punjab on a recent visit.
After meeting the students of a local university in Jalandhar, they took off to the fields all by themselves without their security team, assistants and other staff.
According to a source, Nargis was running around and chasing grasshoppers, Ali just disappeared to some place to soak in the peace and Ranbir spent time sitting on the muddy grass surrounded by acres of land all around with cows chewing on their supper.
“We thoroughly enjoyed our peaceful time in the rustic atmosphere. It was really nice and we all felt alive being so close to nature! We had the most fantastic time in Punjab and I want to thank everyone for the warm welcome and the love and the support given to team 'Rockstar',” said Ranbir.
The team has been on a promotion spree for the film, produced by Shree Ashtavinayak CineVision Ltd and Eros International. It will release Nov 11.
