General Motors India Wednesday launched a new version of its multi utility vehicle (MUV) Tavera, compliant with the latest Bharat Stage IV emission norms. The model will be in the price range of Rs.7.51-10.34 lakh.
"GM engineers carried out an extensive upgrade of the popular Tavera based on customer feedback," said GM India president and managing director Lowell Paddock.
"The result is a stylish yet durable vehicle that is perfectly suited for personal and business use," he added.
Tavera which was so far available with only a BS III engine had stopped selling in the 13 cities after these regions moved to the BS IV emission norms in 2010.
The highest variant of the Tavera features Chevrolet's signature twin-port grille and a bigger Chevrolet bowtie in front and at the back.
Larger shimmering crystal-effect clear lens headlamps with integrated indicator lamps enhance the bold and stylish front look while increasing visibility.
