After the huge success of its Sunny model in India, Nissan is all set to launch its Multi Purpose Vehicle (MPV) Evalia in India. Evalia is expected to hit the Indian roads by the month of September 2012. Nissan Evalia is expected to be another trend setting model from the auto major and will compete with Toyota Innova and Maruti Ertiga. Nissan and its JV partner Ashok Leyland is jointly building the vehicle in India. Nissan Evalia is powered by 1.5 liter Diesel engine and a mileage of 13 km/liter to 16 kmpl can be expected. The price of Evalia in India is expected to be between 7.5 lakhs and 9 lakhs as it is placed in a highly competitive segment which is currently ruled by Innova and Ertiga.
