Following the success of its small car Micra, Nissan India is all set to launch its mid-segment car Nissan Sunny in India in 2011. The car is expected to be available in India by the middle of the year 2011. Nissan Sunny is expected to be priced between Rs. 7.5 lakhs to 10 lakhs and will compete with the other mid segment cars like Maruti Suzuki Dzire, Tata Indigo Manza, Hyundai Accent etc... Nissan Sunny is expected to be a strong, reliable and fuel-economizing vehicle from Nissan. The Sunny model will be powered by Nissan's 1.5-liter HR15DE engine with dual injectors and a new-generation Xtronic CVT with an auxiliary transmission. Both Petrol and Diesel models of Nissan Sunny are expected to be available in India by this year.
