Safety and Braking
A lot of care is taken by Nissan to provide maximum safety to the driver and the co-passengers. The trio of Antilock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD) and Brake Assist (BA) provides the primary braking system in all variants of the sedan. Airbag for the driver is a standard feature across all the variants of the sedan with the top variant getting an additional passenger airbag. Basically, Sunny sedan has included disc as front brakes and drum brake is incorporated into the rear end.

The diesel variant delivers an acceptable fuel efficiency of 22.71 kmpl, which is on an average a good figure keeping in view of the performance of the sedan.
Nissan Sunny is exceptional and can be said to be a complete sedan in all aspects. The handling in the diesel version will be a bit on the rougher side but the petrol version comes off as a smooth performer.
Sunny will be pitted against the likes of Verna, City and Vento and the sedan can be a dominating force in this segment with the only concern being the dealership support and the after-sales service.
