The Nissan Sunny was released in 2014 and it has received a lot of makeovers in the past one and a half years. The latest makeover was announced on the 3th of July 2014. The car currently comes in 8 variants, with another variant to be launched soon. The price of the sedan ranges from Rs 6,99,000 to Rs 9,86,000.
Engine & Performance
The Nissan Sunny comes with a 1.5 l, 4 cylinder engine. The engine is capable of generating around 100 PS of power and generates a maximum torque of 134 Nm. The power train of the car has been designed by the Japanese, which makes it really good. The V- platform of the car ensures that the weight and the height performance of the car is better enhanced. The diesel variant of the car comes with a K9K engine that can produce 86 BHP of power and can generate around 200 Nm of torque at 2000 rpm. The K9K engine is expected to provide better performance than the petrol engine variant of the car. The car can actually go from 0-100 kmph in 15 seconds and the maximum speed is 175 kmph.
The exterior of the car is quite sleek- especially in the rear part. The car is really sporty looking and comes with bold design. There are bold lines running along the front and the side of the car's body, which makes it stand out in terms of design. The lamps are dynamically designed and really powerful. The front grille of the car is interesting looking as well. The front grille has horizontal slats that are chrome finished as well. The round shaped fog cluster lamp is really interesting looking as well. The car comes with body coloured outside rear view mirrors and body handles. The alloy wheels and tubeless tyres make the car look stunning from the side. The rear side of the car is slightly curved, making it look really elegant from the rear. The tail lamp cluster is combined with the reverse light and rear turn indicator as well.
The Nissan Sunny has a wonderful looking interior. The comfort features of the car are also quite high. The car comes with a dual tone dashboard that has automatic and manual AC controls, the music system and a smart instrument panel as well. The instrument panel has four dials- two central dials and two side dials. There is a glove box for the front passengers. The interiors include console box, panel box, shift knob and amazing upholstery as well. The leather upholstery comes in two colour variants and is extremely comfortably. The steering wheel and the gear shift knob also come wrapped in leather. The car is really roomy as well- with plenty of leg room and waist room for three people in the back.
