Most of the changes which distinguish the New Jetta from the existing one can be seen in the exterior façade of the car. The minor design changes in the front and rear of the car has resulted in a refreshed look. The radiator grille now looks different as three horizontal slats have been used to decorate it. It is flanked by headlights with LED lights whose design too have undergone a few changes. Modifications are also noticed in the fog lamps and the front bumper of the car. At the rear, a twist in the design has been added with a small kink which is located on the top of the boot lid. The taillight cluster too gets a refreshed look. Overall, the car has retained the dominating look of the original Jetta.
The changes in the interior too are small but they have created a refreshing effect. The most notable change is the new steering wheel which this car has borrowed from the Polo. It is a flat bottomed steering with three spokes which has a sporty and dynamic look. The topmost trim gets paddle shifters with this steering. Black accent has been used tastefully throughout the cabin to create a sophisticated look. The seats retain their comfort.
