Ideal fish dish to be served with Palappam, rice and chappathi.
Ingredients
Fish (Pomfret) - 250 gms
Onions - 2 nos
Green chilly - 6 nos
Tomato - 1
Garlic - 10 flks
Curry leaves - 1 sprig
Vinegar - 5 ml
Coconut milk - Of half coconut
Termeric powder - 1 pinch
Ginger - 1 small
Coconut oil - 25 ml
Salt to taste
Directions
1. Heat oil in a pan
2. Add garlic and saute
3. Add green chilly, sliced onion, chopped ginger, curry leaves.
4. Then add turmeric powder, salt and 3rd extract coconut milk.
5. Add fish and boil well
6. Add second extract of coconut milk
7. Heat it lightly and reduce flame.
8. When the fish is half cooked add 1st extract of coconut milk and coconut oil.
9. When the fish is cooked take out from fire.
10. Serve hot garnished with sliced ginger and tomato.
