Milk 1 litre
Sugar 3 tbsp
Cardamom powder ½ tsp
Pistachios, flaked 6 to 8
Sunflower seeds 2 tsp
Cashew nuts 1- to 12

Soak the cashew nuts in hot water for 10 to 15 mins and grind into a smooth paste and keep aside. Boil the milk in a vessel and stir till the milk till it thickens on a low heat. Once the milk reduces to half its original volume, add the cashew nut paste and cook for 1 to 2 minutes. Stir in the sugar and cardamom powder. Simmer for a few minutes till the milk get a thick pouring consistency. Remove from heat and pour into a serving dish.
Garnish with the flaked pistachios and sunflower seeds. Chill before serving.
N.B
Instead of nuts and sunflower seeds, add a variety of mixed fruit to make a fruit basoondi
