Milk - 4 cups
Sugar - 1 cup
Ghee - As required
Cardamom powder

Boil milk in a thick bottom vessel and keep heating it on a medium low flame and stir continuously. Make sure it does not stick to the bottom of the vessel. Keep heating it till the milk is reduce to 3/4 of the original quantity.
When the milk is reduced to 1 cup, add sugar to it and mix it thoroughly by stirring. When the mixture starts leaving the edges of the vessel and looks dry, add cardamom powder to it.
Finally remove the mixture fro the vessel and spread it on a plate greased with ghee. Cool it and cut it into small pieces. Pure, delicious peda is ready to be served.
