RAJMA(RED KIDNEY BEANS) CURRY

A healthy and tasty dish that is easy to make. Rajma curry can be had with chappathi, naan, or roti.
Ingredients
1. Rajma(soaked in water the previous night)- 1/2kg
2. Salt to taste
3. Cooking oil 1 tbsp
4. Mustard- 1 tsp, chopped onion-1, crushed garlic-6 pieces, curry leaves-to taste
5. Chilli powder-1 tsp, corriander powder- 1/2 tbsp, turmeric powder- 1/4 tsp, powdered jeera 1/4 tsp, powdered mustard- 1/4 tsp
6. Coconut shreds- 1 cup
7. Tamarind- 1/2 tbsp
To garnish: mint leaves, curry leaves
Directions
Cook the soaked rajma with adequate amount of salt. In a frying pan, cook hte fourth ingredient in oil.
To this add ingredient no.5 and 6 respectively to the mixture and cook well.
To this mixture add the cooked rajma and add water for grevy. After its blended well, add tamarind water to this and take from fire.
