easy chutney made with tomato
Ingredients
Tomatoes - 2 medium sized
Dry red chilly - 5 to 8
Garlic - 5 to 6 flakes
Asafoetida - half spoon
Salt - to taste
Cooking oil as required
mustard for seasoning
Directions
Heat pan, add two tablespoon oil and fry red chillies and a pinch of asafoetida.. keep it aside..in the same bowl add some more oil and shallow fry the tomatoes for 5 to 7 minutes..
now grind all the ingredients with required salt to make a smooth paste... finally seasoning the mixture with mustard seeds and curry leaves...
