Ambareesh has finally agreed to withdraw his resignation from the post of President of Kannada Film Artistes' Association (KFAA). He had sent in his resignation on Friday, December 18 claiming that the cause for his resignation was because he was discontent with the non co-operation of the leading actors in the Kannada film industry.
Actors Darshan, Upendra, Sudeep, Sarojadevi, Raghavendra Rajkumar and actresses like Pooja Gandhi, Andrita Ray, Tara, Sudharani, etc. visited his house to ask him to withdraw his resignation.
While he didn't agree at the beginning, he accepted when they promised that they would extend their support from that day onwards.
According to Ambareesh, they will all join their hands and work together to build the artistes' association, like Dr. Rajkumar wanted. He will hold two meetings and if the actors' continue to give the same response, he will then resign from the President's post. He adds that this will be the last chance for everyone as he cannot struggle alone.
