Shiv Sena activists demonstrated in front of superstar Shah Rukh Khan's house in Bandra here Sunday to protest his comments favouring inclusion of Pakistani players in the Indian Premier League (IPL). They dubbed him a traitor and have demanded that he apologise.

The Sena activists gathered outside Shah Rukh's home, Mannat, and protested late in the afternoon. They demanded a ban on the release of his forthcoming film, "My Name Is Khan", which hits theatres Feb 12.

The Shiv Sena has reportedly written to cinema hall owners asking them to boycott the screening of "My Name Is Khan".

Bal Thackeray, Shiv Sena supremo, Saturday said Shah Rukh Khan deserves Pakistan's highest civilian award, the Nishaan-E-Pakistan, for supporting the inclusion of Pakistani cricketers in the IPL.

In a scathing editorial in Saturday's party mouthpiece Saamna, Thackeray said that the "Khan" inside Shah Rukh Khan must be crushed by the "Har Har Mahadev" war cry of the "Shivaji" inside the Hindus.

Shah Rukh Khan is the co-owner of Kolkata Knight Riders IPL team.

Imagine if the auction for IPL cricket players took place in Pakistan and none of the Indian players were chosen in the auction and also imagine that SRKhan was vehemently attacking the behaviour of Pakistani organisers.

Just imagine what would have been the views of the fanatical Shiv Sena leaders. How would they comment on SRK's behaviour? SRK is the most secular and he is almost to the point of a disinterested atheist when it comes to deciding these sort of stupid things based on religion.

If that can happen to that sort of guy (a film actor, a thoroughbred secularist a star whose wife is a Hindu) just imagine what would have been the reaction of the Shiv Sena fanatics if the sort fair and the most objective comment came from say Jamaate Islami Hind or practising Muslim leaders or from the former President of India Kalam?

Are the Shiv Sena gang not Hypocrites who have two different standards when judging a non-religious issue?

Bal thakre leave my country>>>
Bal Thackeray and his Sena goons are nothing more than the third rate riot making machines. They have not done any good to any Maharashtriyans forget about Indians in their decades old political LOOT Games. They are taking all anti-India and anti-Unity plots only to fill their own pockets. If not Maharashtra Government can do anything to them, the centerla Congress Government must take decisive action to restore national pride in the minds of Indians.

How many people read the Marathi daily Samna? I don't think people even pay attention to the Shiv Sena anymore. Shiv Sena parmukh has lost the charisma as it is evedint from the elections in Maharashtra for the last 15 years. Maharashtra has two idoits Bal Thackeray, Uday Thackeray gunda sena

So far SRK has used his freedom of speech for the following:
1) SRK used it last month to say that he wants to be the biggest Porn Star. How would that influence the nation's youngsters? I would certainly keep my family away from him.
2) Has SRK ever used his freedom of thought to criticize Pak for killing thousands of innocent Indians through terror support (CIA and India have provided ample proof)?
3) Did SRK used his freedom to pick a Pak player instead of NZ player?
