A Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) flight to Abu Dhabi had to return here due to the death of passenger on board Wednesday.
The flight took off at 10.15 a.m. and a passenger identified as Qasim had a severe heart attack around 11.00 a.m. and died instantly.
On the request of his brother, who was travelling with him, the flight was diverted back and landed at the Alama Iqbal International Airport here at 11.45 a.m., Online news agency reported.
After the dead body was offloaded, the aircraft took off again at 12.40 p.m. for Abu Dhabi.
