An earthquake measuring 6.0 on the Richter scale hit Chile Monday, the US Geological Survey said.
The latest tremor occurred at 8.08 a.m. (1108 GMT) 110 km northwest of Chile's second-largest city Concepcion, which was rocked by an 8.8-magnitude earthquake Feb 27, Xinhua reported.
The Chilean government put the confirmed toll of the massive quake at 529.
