Hollywood actress Lindsay Lohan sparked fears that she had contracted swine flu on micro-blogging site Twitter.
The “Mean Girls” star posted a note on her twitter page last week asking fans, "What are the symptoms of Swine Flu?".
"I never said I have it or anything, I was just reaching out to ask because everyone here may know different things about it. Isn't this what Twitter is for? I don't (know if I have it) and my doctor is coming now. I didn't Google it bc (because) this seemed more convenient," hollywood.com quoted Lohan as saying.
Lohan wrote, "Achey? My friend had it and I am sick and I'm now concerned!!!!"
The actress played down fears for her health after receiving messages from fans, but admitted she had asked a doctor for a check-up.
