Panaji, March 17
A 33-year-old Russian woman was found dead in a hotel room in North Goa's Arpora town late Wednesday, police said.
The victim, who was a tourist, has been identified only as Elena, a police official said.
The room was locked from inside and the hotel staff had to use a master key to force their way in. The woman was found dead in her bed. Arpora is 15 km from here.
"The body will be sent for post-mortem later tonight," the official said.
