The Haryana government Thursday announced the creation of seven new municipal corporations (MC) in the state.

The new MCs will be Yamuna Nagar, Panchkula (adjoining Chandigarh), Ambala, Rohtak, Panipat, Karnal and Hisar, a state government spokesman said here.
