March 22, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Janet Jackson will be returning as a psychotherapist for the sequel to Why Did I Get Married? (2007). The emotional scene in the film proved to be healing for the actress who had a bad 2009.
According to the singer/actress, there were bits and pieces in the film that were similar to what had been happening to her last year. Her brother Michael Jackson, the King of Pop, passed away and her longtime boyfriend Jermaine Dupri split from her. She used the trauma to do her role better.
Michael passed away last year in June due to a deadly heart attack.
