Six held for leaking exam papers

New Delhi, March 22

Six people were arrested for allegedly leaking examination papers for government jobs, police said Monday.

The six people, including a government school principal, were arrested Sunday by the crime branch team.

The police received a tip-off that the accused were running a racket of providing answers to questions papers of various competitive examinations for government jobs.

“On Sunday, we received information that they were going to leak the question papers for recruitment of drivers in DTC (Delhi Transport Corporation). A police team conducted raids at the Sarvodaya Vidyalaya, Mori Gate, in north Delhi and apprehended them,” a senior official said.

The police have recovered the question papers and other incriminating documents as well as Rs.200,000 from their possession, he said.
