London, June 10

Actor John Corbett is hurt by critics harsh response to the "Sex And The City 2" and says scribes gave negative reviews for "unfair reason".

"I was a little dismayed that critics treated it so harshly. It's hurtful to hear people put it down for what I feel is an unfair reason," contactmusic.com quoted Corbett as saying.

"I've been in a lot of movies, and I know when I've been in one that's not that good. This isn't one of those," he added.

The 49-year-old returns as lead character Carrie Bradshaw's ex-boyfriend Aidan Shaw in "Sex And The City 2".

Corbett had recently announced that there is a possibility of third part of "Sex And The City" if the second part makes enough money at the box office.
