Actress Christina Applegate now has to make plans to become a mom before the threat of cancer claims her ovaries.
According to contactmusic.com, Applegate had to have a mastectomy in July after she was diagnosed with breast cancer and doctors are now urging her to consider becoming a mother in the next few years because she has a chance of getting ovarian cancer.
Applegate will turn 37 soon and she says: "They (doctors) suggest you kind of get on it before you're a certain age so that they can remove your ovaries. That definitely makes a big difference in my timetable. Everything has to be a process, though. It'll happen. It's just not gonna happen right now."
