Hollywood actor Will Smith has been voted the most popular personality in the US by a magazine poll.
The survey was carried out by Parade magazine and Entertainment Tonight to see which celebrities raise people's spirits during hard times, reports dailymail.co.uk.
"I think a large part of why I've been successful is that I have, essentially, a white-collar career with a blue-collar mentality. I can never really relax. I'm always waiting to see what's next," Smith said.
Joining him in the league were Tom Hanks and Reese Witherspoon who were the runners up.
George Clooney and Brad Pitt occupied the fourth and sixth places while Meryl Streep and Julia Roberts, ranked fifth and seventh.
Johnny Depp, Jennifer Aniston and "Grey's Anatomy" star Patrick Dempsey round out the top 10.
