US pop star Madonna appeared to correct the words of her own spokeswoman when she said a "misleading and inaccurate" statement about a financial settlement in her divorce from Guy Ritchie had been "wrongly issued".
In a joint statement with Ritchie, she Wednesday said: "The financial details of the settlement will remain private, save to say that both of us are happy with our agreement."
Madonna spokeswoman Liz Rosenberg was quoted as saying in New York earlier this week that Ritchie would receive property assets and cash totalling at least 50 million pounds ($76 million) following the couple's divorce after an eight-year marriage Nov 21.
