New Zealand PM to visit Mumbai

New Zealand Prime Minister John Philip Key will arrive here Wednesday on a day’s visit marking the conclusion of his four-day visit to India, an official said here Tuesday.

Key and his delegation will be received at Raj Bhavan by Maharashtra Governor K. Sankaranarayanan in the presence of other top political leaders and officials.

Earlier in the afternoon, Key is scheduled to visit INS Cankarso at the Naval Dockyard in Mumbai harbour.

He will be received by Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Western Naval Command, Vice Admiral D.K. Joshi and other top naval officials.

Key will make a brief presentation on the advanced facilities provided aboard INS Cankarso which has been built by New Zealand, a defence official said.

Besides, the 48-year-old Key is likely to visit the Film City in Goregaon, north-west Mumbai and solicit greater ties between Bollywood and New Zealand.
