Leader of the Opposition in West Bengal and Communist Party of India-Marxist (CPI-M) leader Surya Kanta Mishra Friday alleged that the Trinamool Congress-led government in the state has not taken any step to find out missing Left leaders and workers.
“We have earlier said that 65 Left leaders and workers are missing. But the government has not taken any step to find out them. Police are not going to the places where skeletons or bodies of them could be found,” Mishra said.
He said skeletons or bodies of the missing party workers could be found in Jangalmahal, Nandigram and Khejuri.
“(Chief Minister) Mamata Banerjee has said many times that peace will prevail in the state and the administration is impartial. We are demanding that whatever they announced those should be implemented,” he added
