Islamabad, Oct 1

Thirty miners were abducted from Pakistan's Khyber tribal region, a media report said.

The miners were working in a coalmine in Bara’s Akkakhel area when they were kidnapped by dozens of armed men Friday.

Four other labourers working on a roadside were also kidnapped in the Khyber region, DawnNews reported.

Security forces have meanwhile cordoned off the area.

No group has far claimed responsibility.
