UAE officials hold talks with envoys

Senior officials of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) met the envoys of the US, Bangladesh, Tunisia and Colombia and discussed ways to boost bilateral ties.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, vice president and prime minister of UAE and ruler of Dubai, received Monday at the Abu Dhabi presidential palace US ambassador Michael Corbin, Tunisian ambassador Tariq Baltayeb and Columbian ambassador Roberto V. Vallejo.

Sheikh Mohammed welcomed the envoys, and stressed the significance of bolstering friendship between the UAE and the three countries.

In another meeting Monday in Ras al-Khaimah, Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, supreme council member and ruler of Ras al-Khaimah, met Mohammad Abu Jafar, consul general of Bangladesh in Dubai. The officials also discussed bilateral ties.
