Beijing, Nov 3
The growth of China's non-manufacturing sector slowed in October, as indicated by a decline in the Purchasing Managers Index (PMI), authorities said.
The non-manufacturing sector's PMI, a key economic indicator, fell to 57.7 percent in October from 59.3 percent a month earlier, said the China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing.
A PMI reading above 50 indicates expansion from the previous month, while a reading below 50 indicates contraction, said Xinhua.
