A 20-year-old lineman of a private power distribution company (discom) died Thursday while fixing a fuse wire on a high power transmission line of Agra, police said.
Neeraj Kumar was electrocuted as he climbed the 11,000 volt transmission tower near Shah Complex in the Civil Lines area in the early hours.
Police registered a case of death due to negligence against a junior engineer and the contractor of discom Torrent.
