The met department forecast a pleasant and cloudy day for the national capital Tuesday with early morning showers cooling the city. The minimum temperature settled at 19.7 degrees Celsius, two notches below the average for the season.
“The day is likely to be partly cloudy. Rainfall recorded till 8.30 a.m. was 0.7 mm,” said an official from the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
“The maximum and minimum temperatures will stay around 37 and 20 degrees Celsius respectively,” he added.
The maximum temperature recorded Monday was 35.6 degrees Celsius, a notch below the average for the season. The minimum was 18.3 degrees Celsius.
Humidity recorded early Tuesday was 78 percent.
