The capital woke up to a bright, sunny morning Friday with the minimum temperature settling three notches below average at 21.6 degrees Celsius. The met department has forecast a clear day ahead.
"A clear and sunny day is in store. The maximum temperature is expected to hover around 38 degrees Celsius," an official at the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) told IANS.
Humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 45 percent.
Thursday's maximum temperature was a notch below normal at 37.6 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature dipped three notches below normal to 21.4 degrees Celsius.
