Mumbai, May 4
The Mumbai Press Club will Saturday honour veteran journalist and Outlook Group's editorial adviser Vinod Mehta with a lifetime achievement award.
The honour is part of the National Press Club Awards for Excellence in Journalism. Mehta will be honoured by Kapil Sibal, union minister for human resource development, communications and IT, here.
“Vinod Mehta stood out among his peers for his contribution to developing new formats of the daily newspaper as well as his continuous and stout defence of editorial freedom,” the press club said in a statement.
