At least four people were killed and six injured after an under-construction house collapsed Saturday in Beijing, authorities said.
The two-storey house was being built illegally and collapsed in the afternoon, Xinhua reported citing officials.
The injured were rushed to hospital after the accident occurred in Xizhihe village in Chaoyang district, said Beijing municipal government spokesperson.
Rescuers were searching for others trapped in the debris.
