Gurgaon, May 9
An assistant sub inspector with Haryana Police committed suicide by shooting himself with his service revolver, police said Wednesday.
Subhash Yadav, 47, died Tuesday night as the bullet pierced his head. A family member said he had been stressed due to work.
Police officer Jagdish Rai told IANS that the deceased was posted at district Rewari.
Yadav returned from his village Bhangrola, near Manesar. Around midnight Tuesday, he fired two shots in the air and then a bullet into his head. He was rushed to a hospital and was declared dead.
