Singer Nicole Scherzinger is set to feature in a new play - Andrew Lloyd Webber's “Jesus Christ Superstar”.
In 2011, the singer was rumoured to be a part of a movie version of the story, but it has now emerged that she will test her musical theatre skills by playing Mary Magdalene in a touring production opposite comedian Tim Minchin as Judas, reports dailymail.co.uk.
The lead role of Jesus will be handed to the winner of Webber's latest TV talent contest“"Supersta”".
