UAE, Iraq hold bilateral talks

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Iraq have held bilateral talks.

UAE's Minister for Higher Education and Scientific Research Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan received a visiting Iraqi delegation led by advisor to the ministry of higher education Salah Abdul Qader Al-Nuaimi.

The two sides discussed significance of higher education in Arab countries as a vehicle to catch up with advanced nations in terms of knowledge-based economy.

The Iraqi official noted Iraq could benefit from the experience of the UAE's Higher Colleges of Technology.
