New Delhi, July 10

A 35-year-old woman and an autorickshaw driver were found murdered in two separate incidents here, police said Tuesday.

A woman was found with her throat slit in north Delhi's Bhalswa Dairy area.

A passerby informed police about the body of the woman lying in a vacant plot Tuesday morning.

"As victim's body was found in a semi-naked condition, it seems that she was raped before the murder," a police officer said.

A 27-year-old autorickshaw driver was found stabbed to death in west Delhi's Nihal Vihar area around 11.30 p.m. Monday.

Aashish, who hailed from Uttar Pradesh's Sant Kabir Nagar, was returning to his home in Nihal Vihar area on foot after parking his autorickshaw when he was killed.

"Prima facie it seems to be a case of robbery," said a police official.
