Singer Peter Andre is hosting TV show "Bad Boyfriend Club" and says that it is helping him improve himself and become a "perfect date" for his new girlfriend, Emily MacDonagh.
"I have learnt a lot by watching where the guys in my show go wrong and have been putting it into practice with Emily," thesun.co.uk quoted Andre as saying.
In "Bad Boyfriend Club", Andre helps unruly men save their relationships.
"I have been writing down all the things girls don’t like and then I go on a date and the girl says, ‘Oh my God, you just did everything right’. Emily said I was the first person she had been with who didn’t have his phone on the table. I made out that I had always done that,” he added.
The singer, 39, is dating medical student MacDonagh, 23, only since a month, and the two recently went to Cypus for a break.
Andre has two children with ex-wife Katie Price - Junior, seven, and Princess, five.
“When I’m a single guy, I do what single guys do, but when I’m with someone, I’m very different. There have been times when I haven’t been a good boyfriend. When I was about 19, I went on my first date with a girl to the cinema, but I fell asleep 15 minutes in."
“She said to me, ‘You are the biggest waste of space and time’. From filming 'Bad Boyfriend Club', I have picked up that you don’t take your phone out on a date and you should always give a girl a card - it’s more important than a present."
“You would have to ask Emily, but I would like to think she would describe me as a good boyfriend. She is a wonderful girl - it’s early days but we’re obviously heading in the right direction,” he added.
