Centuries by Bhushan Chauhan of Saurashtra (111, 180b, 11x4, 1x6) and Kedar Jadav (103, 11x4, 2x6) of Maharashtra featured the opening day of the All India Buchi Babu Memorial cricket tournament here Saturday.
Jadav and Chirag Khurana (27) put on 122 runs for the second wicket as defending champions Maharashtra made 281 all out in 75.4 overs against Hyderabad who were 38 for two in reply at stumps.
Bhushan’s ton and his 143-run partnership with fellow-opener Chirag pathak (77, 7 x4) helped Saurashtra to 350 for seven by close against Assam for whom Syed Mohammed claimed four for 106.
