The Emirates World Mobile Humanitarian Hospital has begun providing treatment free of charge to Syrian refugee patients in camps in Jordan.
A team of 70 UAE and Jordanian doctors, health professionals and technicians as well as volunteers are jointly running the mobile clinic.
Ahmed Al Mazrouie, chairman of UAE Red Crescent Authority, thanked the Jordanian authorities for their assistance in operating the hospital, as many of the Syrian refugees were suffering from chronic diseases like diabetes, high blood pressure and cardiac disorders.
