Singer Ronan Keating says he wants to live a stress-free life after all the hard times he has faced in the past.
"The amount of stress I've dealt with over the past few years is a terrible thing and it makes you sick. I want to live a life with no stress and real happiness," contactmusic.com quoted Keating as saying.
The 35-year-old faced a broken marriage after he was caught cheating on his wife, model Yvonne Connolly, in 2011.
Keating, who was also part of band Boyzone, lost a good friend and band mate Stephen Gately when the latter died in 2009 due to undiagnosed heart condition.
The singer says while certain circumstances were created by him, others just came without any notice and wouldn't wish that for anyone else.
"Some things I created myself, other things have just ended up on my lap and there was nothing I could do," Keating said.
"I've broken down and I've had times where I've had to retreat. I'm only human. I've failed at certain things and learnt a lot and I've been through things that I wouldn't wish on my worse enemy," he added.
