Riteish's next film spoof on Hindi blockbusters
Actor Riteish Deshmukh has been roped in to star in a comedy titled "Filmy Picture", which is said to be a spoof on various Bollywood blockbusters and classic Hindi films.
It is the remake of super hit Telugu movie "Sudigadu", which was remade in Tamil as "Tamil Padam" - both the films were spoof on the respective film industries.
"Filmy Picture" will be produced by southern producer D. Suresh Babu under his banner Suresh Productions and is in casting stage. Riteish was last seen in "Kya Super Kool Hain Hum".
For Gadhvi, producer's satisfaction most important
Director Sanjay Gadhvi, who has given hit films like "Dhoom" and "Dhoom 2", reveals that for him his producer's happiness was more important than box office success and critics' views.
"My producer should be happy, 'Kidnap' was made on a low budget and Ashtavinayak (producers) was very happy. I wish that people also would have liked it better," Gadhvi told IANS.
After the success of "Dhoom" and "Dhoom 2", he made "Kidnap" with Imran Khan and Minissha Lamba which failed to strike a chord with the audience.
"A director must think of why a producer is making a film and what he expects of the director. You need to merge what he (producer) thinks, the public wants and what you think the public wants," he added.
