The new ambassador of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to Colombo, Abdel Hamid Abdel Fatah Kadhim, Saturday presented his credentials to Sri Lankan President Mahinda Rajapaksa.
At a ceremony held here, the ambassador conveyed greetings of UAE President Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan to Rajapaksa, and stressed his country's keenness to strengthen friendship and cooperation with Sri Lanka.
