"The man raped his daughter Friday. The girl approached the neighbours after the incident and they took her to the police station following which a complaint was lodged," the officer said.

The medical examination has confirmed rape. Kush was immediately arrested.

Kush last month brought his daughter and two sons from his village in Rewa district in Madhya Pradesh. His wife and a third son are in the village.
