It will be of no use and there is nothing to celebrate . US always act on politics otherwise how white house had been sleeping for last 28 years. The us administration was confering Indian Congress view that Nobody killed more 2500 sikhs but they killed themselves by putting tyre on thier necks and burning themselves by putting kerosene oil over heads. Indian courts have failed. Now Indian Sikhs including Man Mohan Singh the great son of sikh are bussy in money making then to Provide for justice to the killedone. Very little compensation have been paid for thier houses and other valuable burnt . This had proved to be shamful act of Dictators ruling the great Gandhian Govts.

I think it is a great first step towards recognizing the killings as a Sikh genocide. If Obama acts on it, it will help raise awareness and hopefully get justice for those murdered in 1984.
