Television heartthrob Gurmeet Choudhary found himself amid a health scare when he went breathless and complained of chest pain, while shooting for his show "Punar Vivah".
Seeing his discomfort, the crew members rushed the actor to a hospital in Borivili, close to the sets of the Zee TV show in Mumbai.
Gurmeet underwent a series of tests and it was confirmed that the chest pain was a result of a muscular spasm.
"Gurmeet was first admitted to a hospital near the sets of 'Punar Vivah' in Mira Road. An ECG was conducted, but they were not able to give us a confirmed report, which left us worried," said Gurmeet's wife Debina.
"So, we repeated the tests at another hospital. We’re relieved now since the doctors have said that it's just a muscle spasm," she added.
She has now decided to ask Gurmeet to go easy on his work and gym routine.
Gurmeet, who wowed his fans with his performances in a recent dance show, says he is fine.
“I’d like all my fans to know that I’m fine. It was not a heart attack. For the last seven months I have been constantly dancing, shooting, working out my chest and back muscles to a point of fatigue in the gym.
"All kinds of rumours have been floating around and I have been getting a lot of calls, but I’m already on my way to a speedy recovery. In fact, I have resumed the shoot for 'Punar Vivah'," said Gurmeet.
Ram Kapoor gets grooving on KBC sets
Popular TV actor Ram Kapoor grooved to the tunes of "Ek punjaban" during his appearance on game show "Kaun Banega Crorepati".
The actor, along with his "Bade Acche Lagte Hain" co-star Sakshi Tanwar, made a guest appearence on the Jodi special episode of the show, hosted by Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan.
Both Ram and Sakshi were at it as they pulled each other’s leg. Then came a point in the game when Sakshi challenged Ram to answer the next question correctly, failing which he would have to touch Sakshi’s feet. Ram eventually lost the bet and was about to fulfill the demand, when Big B interrupted.
He jokingly said: “We cannot afford you bending down to touch her feet, so you better dance.”
Ram got up from the hot seat and made his way to the centre of the stage and danced to the song "Ek Punjaban", originally picturised on Big B.
Salman, Sonakshi in 'Sa Re Ga Ma Pa'
Superstar Salman Khan and his "Dabangg 2" co-star Sonakshi Sinha pepped up the entertainment quotient on "Sa Re Ga Ma Pa 2012" as they appeared on the singing reality show to promote their forthcoming film.
Seeing Salman on the floor, show mentors Sajid-Wajid could not refrain themselves from breaking into a foot-tapping medley on the songs "Humka peeni hai" and "Seeti".
The two stellar performers of the day were Pune boy, Jasraj Joshi and Ludhiana's Shenaz Akhtar, who mesmerized both Salman and Sonakshi with their outstanding performances.
