Three days after two powerful bombs killed 16 people and injured 117, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh Sunday visited the sites here.

Accompanied by Andhra Pradesh Governor E.S.L. Narasimhan and Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy, he first stopped at the Anand Tiffin Centre in front of Konark Theatre.

The chief minister briefed him about the incidents. He later visited the scene of the second blast, a few meters away.

Manmohan Singh, who flew into Hyderabad in an Indian Air Force aircraft, will call on the injured at hospitals.

The prime minister drove a distance of about 2.5 km to reach Dilsukhnagar, the area the terrorists targeted.
