India won their Davis Cup tie against Chinese Taipei after Somdev Devvarman beat Lu Yen-hsun to give the visitors an unassailable 3-1 lead in the Asia-Oceania Group I fixture here Sunday.
Somdev stunned the World No.59 6-1, 6-2, 6-3 in the first reverse single at Yang Ming Tennis Centre.
Rohan Bopanna will pay Ti Chen in the now inconsequential second reverse single.
