India 189 for 4 at lunch on third day of second Test

India lost the important wicket of Sachin Tendulkar (49) in the first session of the third day and were at lunch 189 for four in reply to New Zealand's first-innings score of 619 for nine declared in the second cricket Test here at McLean Park Saturday.

Tendulkar was caught at slip by Ross Taylor off off-spinner Jeetan Patel and at the break, Rahul Dravid was batting on 57 and V.V.S. Laxman 21.
